Forney 48520 TIG Filler Metal, 36 in L, Aluminum/Carbon/Silicon 1/16 in ER309L stainless steel TIG (GTAW) filler metal. Contains silicon additives which results in improved fluidity (wetting action) of the weld pool and provides a weld less sensitive to cracking. Consists of less than 0.03% carbon for added corrosion resistance. Recommended for most dissimilar metals. Works well for dissimilar joints that will undergo heat treatment. 90 to 130 AC polarity
